Title: FSound Case1: "The Drip"

Description: The purpose of this piece was to merge found sound into a musical composition and intertwine it with video footage of those sounds, edited into somewhat of a similar percussive manor. I wanted to begin by incorporating sounds that most of us overlook on a daily basis and thus emphasize them. The annoying drip of the faucet is the "antagonist" of the piece. The character then tries to find ways to distract himself from the sound, but to no avail. The piece was my final project for my digital art class that focused on videography. Being a musician, I wanted to incorporate that side of myself into it as well.
