Title: Super-Imposition
Description: This is a live recording of a work I composed and performed that uses the graphic user interface programing language Max, to create an interactive Duet for Saxophone and Electronics. The electronics are controlled by a laptop mouses-state data and modify the parameters of a multiple-carrier frequency-modulator, the saxophone improvises music which is then processed by the frequency modulator and the signal is delayed to give maximum interactivity to the performers. Technology is sometimes perceived as in conflict with the arts. This work explores those conflicts through interaction.
